After checking that everything is in order it is time to install your hard drive. First attach your serial ATA or IDE cable to the hard drive. Then connect the other end of the cable into your motherboard. Connect the power cable to the hard drive then the other half connected into a spare power port of your power supply. Make sure the cables are securely connected.

With cables connected, position the drive in an empty drive bay, line up the screw holes on the hard drive with those on the mounting case and insert the screws.
